Hello There,
I recently received the Create a Critter cartridge so I had to make some super cute cards to send to my friends. The cuts on this cartridge are just too cute. I've seen lots of projects using this cartridge so I was very excited to get to use it. I am definitely in love with this cartridge.
Anyway let's get to the first 2 cards I created with this cartridge.
The first card I made for my dear friend uses the owl cut (not sure what size because I lost my paper that had it written down). I used a light and dark teal polka dot paper from Michael's to make the owl. I added glossy accents to the beak and claws. I also added some brown glitter glue to the wings and eyelashes. The card is a standard A2 size with a layer of Kraft cardstock layer. I stamped "Hello There" on the inside.
The second card I made for another dear friend with the giraffe cut (again not sure of the size). The yellow paper for the giraffe is the same line of polka dot paper from Michael's. This card is also an A2 size card. The grass paper is from my stash that I've had for years. It looks like crinkled paper then I cut it to look like grass. I used D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder on the blue background and the Polka Dots Cuttlebug folder on the clouds. The clouds are also cuts from Create a Critter cartridge. I cut the Hello tag and stamped it.
Hope you enjoyed the cards.
Have a Magical Day :)

Happy St. Patty's Day
Hello,
I needed to make my St. Patrick's Day cards to send out and the theme fit a few challenges perfectly. These are the challenges I entered my cards in.
1) Bitten by the Bug 2: Shamrock and Green Challenge - make a project using a shamrock and the color green.
2) Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog: #101 Luck of the Irish - make a project using a shamrock or the color green.
3) Krafty Girls: #2 Feelin' Lucky - St. Patrick's theme project.
4) Whimsical Wednesday Challenge: #45 Going Green - Incorporate the color green in your project.
Now that that is out of the way onto my project.
First up I cut all my pieces on my Cricut. I used the Pilgrim hat from Designer's Calendar since I don't have a cartridge that has a leprechaun on it. The hat is cut at 3". I also used Designer's Calendar to cut the shamrocks at 1". I used the Cricut Craft Room Basics to cut the fancy edge labels and its shadow at 3.5". The green patterned paper was from Me & My Big Ideas "Explorer" Paper Pack. Since I didn't have enough of all one pattern to make all the cards so I cut 8 in one and 8 in the other. The green patterned paperis the shadow but after cutting them all out I wish I would made the white paper the shadow. Oh well...next time. I chose to make these cards A2 size with a Kraft cardstock base.
On the inside of the cards I used a Studio G stamp and a dark green Studio G ink square. I just love the little swirl in the message.
Here are my completed cards. I glued the golden yellow paper to the back of the hats and used Studio G gold glitter glue to go over it. While that was drying I used a polka dot background stamp to stamp a darker green ink onto the little shamrocks. I am a big fan of polka dots so I love to use them. I also used my Cuttlebug to emboss the white cutouts with polka dots. Once everything was dry I glued everything together. I used a pop dot to pop up the shamrock.
I also added some faux stitching on the hat. In these pictures you can see the sparkle from the glitter glue.
Overall I enjoyed how they turned out. Hope you enjoyed these.
Recipe:
Card Base: A2 - 4.25 x 5.5"
Fancy Edge Label & Shadow: 3.5" (Cricut Craft Room Basics)
Pilgrim Hat: 3" (Designer's Calendar)
Shamrock: 1" (Designer's Calendar)
Studio G gold glitter glue, stamps, dark green ink

Just Relax
Hello,
I know this is crazy because its my third post today but I made all 4 projects yesterday and put the pictures on my computer so all I had to do was write the posts today. This card was made for the A Stitch in Time challenge at Cardz TV. The challenge is to create a card for any occasion using real or faux stitching.
I wanted to do something extra fun so I made a relaxing card with the face mask from the Cricut Lite cartridge Slumber Party. I definitely need to do some relaxing this week since I take my nursing boards on Thursday. I chose the blue and green colors because I love this color combination. I used my white gel pen to add some faux stitching around the black base and mask. I had to add some light blue glitter glue to the polka dots. I also embossing the background with my Cuttlebug.
Recipe:
Card Base: 5 x 5"
Layer: 4 1/2 x 4 1/2" (Polka Dots Cuttlebug folder)
Mask: 4"
1/4" We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper
Studio G Glitter Glue
Ribbon from stash
White Gelly Roll Pen for faux stitching

Kitchen Puns
Hello,
I really enjoy cooking so the From My Kitchen cartridge is definitely one I enjoy. I made some cute kitchen pun cards. Enjoy!!
"Poppin' By To Say Hi"--I love the retro look of the appliances on this cartridge. I thought a toaster was quite appropriate for this saying.
"I Mix You"--This was my first cut from this cartridge. I absolutely loved the way it turned out. I used the frame from the background cut of the previous. I also cut an oval and embossed it using the Cuttlebug.
"You're so Flippin' Hot"--I think this card turned out to be quite cute. The little bow brought it all together. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder for the green paper.

Disney Cards
Hi,
I love Disney!!! So there is no doubt that I love the Disney Cricut cartridges. Here are the cards that I've made so far.
"You're Jawesome!"--This card features Bruce from the Best of Pixar Cartridge. The seaweed and bubbles are also from that cartridge.
Some Disney love--I designed these cuts using Cricut Craft Room. These are simple and elegant. I used the Mickey & Friends and Mickey Font cartridges. I added faux stitching and rhinestones to the cards.

"You're a Scream"--I cut Mike from Monsters Inc. and the monster background from the Best of Pixar cartridge. I embossed the background with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I added the ribbon for fun. It's hard to tell but the ribbon is a different shade of blue.
"You're Incredible"--Mr. Incredible and the graphic behind him was also cut from the Best of Pixar cartridge."What's Up Spud??"--Mr. Potato Head was cut from the Toy Story Cartridge. I used my Cuttlebug on this project as well. The embossing folder I used for this card is called Spots and Dots.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures.
